Contributor Guide
Ownership You must be the copyright holder of every graphic file you submit. If you created the graphic as an original work, then you are automatically the copyright holder. If someone else created the graphic, or assisted in its creation, then you are only the copyright holder if you have a proper signed agreement from that person transferring the copyright to you. File Specifications We currently accept three types of graphic files: images, flash files, and eps vector files. specifications for each of these file types are detailed below. Image Files TBD
* Minimum image size may refer only to the largest dimension of height or width, e.g. a 1920x300 image file may be appropriate. Adobe Flash Files Flash submissions must include two files: (1) the swf and (2) the raw fla. Files must be completely vector for seamless rescaling.
* Both the swf file and the fla file must have the same name, with the appropriate extension, e.g. vf00001.swf and vf00001.fla Vector Files Each vector art submissions must contain two files: (1) an EPS format (CS4 compatible) and (2) a jpg preview image
* The Jpg File for preview purposes (must be 1920 or 1080 px wide or tall, depending on which is the largest dimension) ** Both the vector file and the jpg preview must have the same name, with the appropriate extension, e.g. vf00001.eps and vf00001.jpg Production Quality To be accepted, your files must be clean and easily editable. Where applicable, all fonts must be outlined. Vectorized images will not be accepted in flash or vector submissions. Please see Graphics Production Tips for more information. |
