Q. Do U.S. resident contributors need to fill out and submit IRS form W-9?
A. Yes. In order for us to process payments of $600 US or greater in a calendar year, we require a completed W-9 to be on file.

Q. Can IRS form W-9 be submitted electronically?

Q. Where do I send the hard-copy of my completed IRS form W-9?
A. To send your completed IRS form W-9 by mail, address it to:

Q. Do you submit form 1099 to the IRS to report contributor payments?
A. Yes. We submit form 1099 to the IRS for all payments of $600 US or greater in a calendar year.


Q. Do foreign contributors need to submit US tax forms?
A. Yes. We will need to have a W-8BEN (or relevant w-8 series form) on file for foreigh contriobutors before any payments will be processed. Please visit the Taxes and Withholding secion of this guide for more detailed information.
